Directions
Hinterland Music Festival is located at the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater 3357 St Charles Rd, St Charles, IA 50240, a naturally formed amphitheater that overlooks the beautiful Iowa landscape. We’re about 30 miles south of Des Moines, Iowa and just west of I-35.

Parking for Non-Campers
Every vehicle entering Hinterland requires the purchase of a parking pass or campsite. Buy parking passes here.

– General Parking 3-Day – Located just west of I-35. Camping in this parking lot is prohibited. GPS location of lot entrance: 41.293513614864295, -93.78234522987704

– General Parking 1-Day – Located just east of I-35. Parking for 1-Day ticket holders. Camping in this parking lot is prohibited. GPS location of lot entrance: 41.29334382924336, -93.77684348090503

– SAINTS Parking – Located on west side of festival grounds. One SAINTS Parking Pass per order is included with the purchase of any SAINTS ticket type. Camping in this parking lot is prohibited. GPS location of lot entrance: 41.29031764741464, -93.80336983169576

Parking for Campers

Parking Pass Stickers
Parking pass window stickers are required to enter the parking lots. If you don’t physically have your sticker, you MUST go to the Box Office before entering a parking lot to pick up your activated parking pass sticker.

Only exceptions are if you purchased a 3-Day General Parking Pass after 7/19 or if you have a 1-Day General Parking Pass, those passes will be available via the AXS app as a digital pass. You don’t need to go to will call.

For everyone else, put your sticker on the inside of your driver’s side front windshield to allow our team to quickly check it upon arrival.

Arriving
View the camping & parking map to locate your parking lot and follow the posted signs when you arrive. Remember to follow the information above about the parking pass sticker!

After parking, go to the Main Entrance (if you have your wristband) or the Box Office (if you need to pick up a wristband).

Use the parking lot shuttle or walk on the marked trails. Due to safety concerns, it is not advised to walk on the road or from 1-Day General Parking.

Parking Lot Shuttles
Free shuttles will be loop between General Parking Lots and the Main Entrance/Box Office.

Times
– General, Outerland, Innerland, and VIP Parking check-in hours: 9am-7pm Friday-Sunday
– SAINTS, Glamping, and RV Parking check-in hours: 3pm-8pm Thursday, 9am-7pm Friday-Sunday
– All campers must exit by Noon Monday

Peak Travel Times
Peak travel times are 9 a.m. on Friday (for campers), 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. each day and exiting the festival each night. If you can’t head out early to avoid traffic and have to wait in line on your way in or out of the festival grounds, remember to keep it friendly. Your fellow Hinterlanders are waiting too, and everyone will be there soon!

Re-Entry
Vehicle re-entry to parking lots is allowed during daylight hours only. No re-entry for RVs or 1-Day General Parking.
